Ryan Industries Success Story 2013

Ryan Industries, Inc. (RII) was launched by Brenda Ryan in 1995; our first customer was Mopar, the service and aftermarket division of the Chrysler Group LLC.  With core capabilities of warehousing, contract packaging, light assembly, kitting and distribution, RII has realized significant growth while providing all of our customers with an engaged and committed supply partner.  We are extremely proud of our relationship with Chrysler; the two companies have enjoyed mutual benefits by proactively addressing and providing solutions to a number of challenging initiatives.  Examples of the extraordinary teamwork between Chrysler and RII would include;

  • A complete redesign of Mopar’s past model seating program resulting in decreased inventory levels and significantly increased order fill rates.  Back orders have dropped to zero while associated  inventory mix and investment has been optimized.
  • A complete redesign of Mopar’s transmission service kit program resulting in a >500% increase in (Mopar’s) monthly sales within 6 months after launch.
  • A Re-sourcing action by Chrysler wherein the associated assembly process was enhanced, while Chrysler was able to realize an associated cost reduction of >35%.  This particular production contract, over a nearly 3 year timeframe, has resulted in >$45M cost savings with zero issues relative to availability or quality.
